"I think it all depends on where you live...I just paid 285. for a spay last
month..plus 100.00 blood panel.....thats in the Chgo burbs. But I insisted on
a IV and other monitering...I would have paid anything to get the final
result a live dog...I have had 2 die from being spayed over the years..

This is something that really scares me, its always a risk to put a dog under
anesthesia. I have a healthy bitch, almost 5 that I've never been able to
impregnate. I have always spayed and neutered my dogs that weren't to be bred,
but I hesitate with her. Do most of you leave your bitches intact if they are
healthy?
