Yesterday at the Yosemite Kennel Club show under judge Michelle  
Billings, Scherzar's Son of a Witch, littermate to Scherzar's Wicked,  
won his 12-18 class and was Winner's Dog and Best of Opposite Sex over  
the 2009 # 5 German Shepherd Dog.....his father!!!!  LOL   If you are  
going to loose, it is always best to keep it in the family and loose  
to one of your kids!!!!  We only showed at this one show, so guess we  
picked the right one to enter.

Merlin, as he is called, is out of Ch. Schezar's Cinnamon Twist OFA by  
Multi BISS & Multi Group Winning Ch. Rohan's Reward  
TC,CGC,HT,CD,RE,CHIC  (Strider) and was bred by Janice Staley, Paul  
and Jennifer Root and is owned by Janice Staley and Kay Springer.   
Following in his father's paw steps, he is handled in the ring by my  
good friend Art Sinclair and trained, conditioned, groomed and in  
residence with his other mother, Tracy Radigan.  Thanks to Debbie  
Hopkins who took Merlin back in.

Bobbie Kindy, Strider's breeder, says I finally have come to know the  
right color for a GSD as Merlin is a plush black and red sable boy and  
his sister, Amber is a strong red sable girl!
