Tom Bennetts son, Gary, just called me with the sad news that Tom Bennett
passed away today.
Tom and Jane had a son who lived a few blocks from us in La Habra Heights.
We used to see them now and then when they came to California to visit.
They were two very great people and would make everyone feel welcome. I
missed them at the national, and am sorry to hear of Tom's dying.
Life is so short when you live this long.
