I was up at three to work on getting the catalog in this condition. I sure
hope it works. I got a copy in Word and I only know how to work with Word
Perfect. So, I had to copy it into an e-mail then it took out all the
spacing, so I had to do it by hand. I wish I had a 10 year old to show me how
to
do this stuff.
It is a bit warmer today, but they are calling for rain about nine, so I am
ready.
We are at the show site, and I see Bill Basu is here, and so is Karen
Taylor, without Bart. She has her people and they are all working. It is
strange not to see Tom and Vivian, but it is a long drive. The ring is full
on
all sides, and Dave Firtche and his grandson Dave are having fun. Alycia is
here too, and I see Ben Bigornia. Art Sinclair is back today for more, and
everyone seems to be in a great mood. This is a new show site, and a good
one, with parking next to the ring.
The Famous Linda Battistoni and I were the cooks yesterday, she directs and
I do what I am told. Nancy Hubbell has a new hair cut, and looks very
blonde. Why isnâ??t she gray like the rest of us?
What a weekend. We are on the way home. It is pouring rain, so we mgith
have a problem at the grapevine, but Harley won another Best of Breed, and a
Group first today.
We havenâ??t heard any more.
We have two Best Puppy wins on Kierkegaard, and the other two shows, Best
Opposite Puppy. We didnâ??t finish Honey, so we will have to wait for her to
finish blowing her coat, (we left most of it in Sacramento), and it will be
another six weeks or so for that final point.

The judging was good, and the quality high. There were very few entries
that could not win points, and a number of them could have finished. I didnâ??
t get the full story, so maybe someone did. It was raining and cold, and so
we hit the road.
The day was very cold, then just sort of cold, then cold as all get out.
The wind didnâ??t help much, and we had to take down the tents before the rain,
(not the best of plans).
All in all, fun so far. If we get home without crashing, if I make it to
court tomorrow, if Paula makes it back without an accident, and the sun comes
up tomorrow, it will be a good weekend
