That's right, there are now less than 72 hours before closing at 6 p.m.
on Wednesday, April 14.
These shows will take place on May 1 & 2, at our usual show site, the
Springbrook Recreation Center in Alcoa, Tennessee. This is a nice
outdoor show site, with a large grassy ring, in a pleasant park setting.
Ms. Karen Hynek will judge breed and junior showmanship on Saturday, and
Ms. Carol Smith will judge breed and junior showmanship on Sunday.
Entries cost $25.00, except Puppy, BBE, and Veteran are $12.00. Junior
Showmanship classes are free if the dog is entered in breed and $12.00
otherwise.
The host hotel is the MainStay Suites (865-379-7799) with a $25 one-time
pet fee and the following rates: $59.99 for "queen with recliner," 64.95
for a "queen suite," or $74.95 for a "double bedroom." They're also
offering "dog washing stations" (with towels provided) and other
amenities for our dog show guests. Make reservations by April 21 and
mention the "German Shepherd Dog Show" to guarantee these rates.
