Attention Parent Clubs: If your club actively rescues dogs, we encourage you to
apply for the AKC Humane Fund’s grant. This program reimburses breed rescue
programs for some of the expenses associated with rehoming dogs, including
veterinary care and supplies. If your Parent Club does not perform rescue
services and wishes to recommend an organization that does so on behalf of your
breed, please encourage them to apply. (A letter of referral from the parent
