[ SHOWGSD-L ] Progesterone - Whelping Dates - Help!

I have a bitch who is now two days past her predicted whelping date if I use
the progesterone date showing her at 2.4 ng/ml (should have caught the LH
surge). Vaginal smears did not agree with progesterone test. She was 2.4
ng/ml at 9 days in season....but stud dog owners did smears at 13 days ( not
totally cornified) and 15 days (totally cornified). Which should I trust in
planning a possible C-section? My vet says wait for temperature drop...that
may be too late.
