Pro Plan Performance the other day to feed to my puppy because I want to put
a little weight on her. I do not normally use it. I use Large Breed Adult

it has a really strong smell. Their other dry foods do not. I checked the
freshness date and it was like May of 2008. I was wondering if anyone out there
uses this food regularly and is it normal for it to have a strong smell. I
cannot even describe the smell other than it is strong. I have been trying for
two days to talk to someone at Nestle Purina and ask them about it but I
keep getting put on hold for like half an hour and I do not have time for that
nonsense. I am going to e-mail them and maybe I can get an answer that way.
