As a new comer (although advised by old timers) whose bitch was Reserve
to Opposite Sex at the Northeast Futurity this kind of statement goes
right through me. We, Molly's breeder and I, are quite proud of her
achievements. Nor did she hound me into showing her.
I don't think this makes sense to me. Why in god's green little apples
would a breeder want one of his pet puppies being campaigned. I can't
think of anything more embarrassing. Plus, the only time a dog gets
ROM points is at the National for Maturity/Futurity Victor and Victrix
and if you think I'm insulted....... So, bringing the pet puppies out
to the local Futurities does nothing for the breeder.
