We have not exchanged gifts since I was in high school. Christmas is pretty
much a religious holiday for us, and very food oriented. It's all about going
to as many of our relatives homes as possible and getting stuffed! I hated
when my family moved to Cleveland, but this would not have been possible if we
hadn't.
The last few years we've taken food to the homeless, and this year we are
taking it to the local police station. How my appreciation of this holiday has
grown. I shake my head at the mention of psycho Christmas shoppers...

My family and I decided not to exchange gifts this year. You would not
believe how much more time I have with cooking, cleaning and baking and all
got done in plenty of time
Instead I took my baked goods to people who were in need. It makes you feel
good and they were so thankful.
Isn't that what Christmas is all about?

holiday season.

I still can't believe they did not charge the woman who pepper sprayed the
people in Walmart as part of her "black friday strategy".
People really are nuts and we sit back and treat it like a reality show.
