Lots of people post pics of their dogs on various forums and the like and I've noticed a few get critiques of "Would like to see firmer pasterns". But quite frankly, I think the pasterns look fine, and the dog is just well angulated. So, where's the cut off for "down pasterns" and "well angulated" pasterns. I mean, I know the German dogs don't have as much angulation in the pastern as the American dogs, but I don't think they're always down on them. A dog can be walking/standing tall and proud on his feet, and still be judged as "down on the pasterns" and I don't get it - Jackie ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2007.
