PERMISSION TO CROSSPOST IS GRANTED IN ADVANCE
Okay, folks, it is time to put our noses back to the
grindstone. The ARistas did not take the Christmas
break off. Straight from the horse's mouth (an aide
in Santorum's office contacted by phone) - AKC is
wrong!! There are no amendments at this time and there
WILL BE NO amendments in the future. The bill is going
forward as it is currently written.
Below is an email containing the names of more than 60
new PAWS sponsors and contact information as well as
some suggestions for letters. If the new sponsors are
from your state (or even if they aren't <g>) please
write them and ask them to withdraw. Give them good
information, call, fax, email but get your point
across - that you are a reputable AKC breeder or a
reputable animal owner and you are opposed to PAWS!!
You can also contact the National Republican Party HQ
as many have done and tell them you will not support
the party with either donations or votes as long as
Santorum is supporting PAWS.
No one is going to ride in on a white horse and save
us - certainly not AKC - we will have to save
ourselves.
