Cats aren't dogs; there, I've said it. Dogs are loving, steadfast and true. Cats are, well, cats! It has been hard having 3 barn cats-- they never let you know where they are, they never write, they never call, (ahem.) When Grey-grey disappeared over a month ago, I thought he was a goner. He re-appeared 2 weeks later with a deep wound in his side. Before I could grab him and get him to Doc's, he vanished again. He re-appeared today (after another 2 week absence), but he did not escape my clutches. I got him in the carrier, drove straight to Doc's, where he ministered him. Grey didn't like it; I think his dignity was wounded. Anyway he's home now, shaved, antibioticized (not really a word) and mad as sin. Forest is happy. Grey is her favorite cat. "Caloo, Calay" I chortled in my joy. Penny in NC The Farm Dog ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2011.
