I've tried them all I think... Magic Jack, Vonage, etc...
The problem is upload speed. I have a satellite system and the
download speed is great, so I can hear other people on the phone, but
they can't hear me or it is very garbled. You need over 500 mps upload
to make it work and even most high speed internet systems are great
getting stuff to your computer but not so great in receiving what you
send.
If you have high speed cable or a "T" line you might be OK, but just
"high speed" is not always "high speed!"
