Hi Evan
In the trial rings and SchH, you are "encouraged" to have a "Dentition
Check" done
at one year old. This is to ensure that a judge has checked and certified
a full mouth,
and it is recorded. Since dogs carrying and retrieving heavy dumbells and
biting sleeves
can lose or crack a tooth sometimes...it is a good idea to know that they
weren't born missing
a tooth for later on in the conformation ring.
