Rather than hamburger, I would give boiled chicken and rice. Skim the fat off
of the pot or microwave boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Don't give her the
fat. Do not hold back on food or water, this will cut the milk production.
For the diarrhea you can give her Pepto-Bismo.

At the shelter is a 25 lb pit female she is only 10 months tops... found on
the streets etc... puppies are 4 days old..she has 8 of them... they
ained 100 grams in 24hrs the day before... this last 24hrs they have gained

er rice.. REMEMBER this is a high volume shelter where there is no
elp... all they had was good canned food and good kibble

is it better to feed and risk the stool being water or NOT feed so she
an stop losing fluids? she was drinking good yesterday but not so much
