Hello Listers and is it PPers or PPPers???
I was at the National but I relate to the stay-at-homers... I was so
busy selling catalogs and Red Books, replacing blown RV tires and
managing the Rally trial that I didn't see much of the show either.=20
So I'm grateful for Bill's internet catalog and Evan's blog! I
learned more there than I knew while I was at Concord.
I'm glad to read so many positives about the site. The RV area was
great - huge spaces for all, though the dog walking grass could have
been better. LOVED the ability to double next to the ring and to see
the dogs up close. YAY. The snack bar food was pretty bad - so
hopefully "when" we go back there for another National I'll remember
to bring a sandwich each day haha.
The Rally trial was a great success and mostly due to the awesome
helpers who volunteered to steward. THANK YOU to Donna Cassista,
Kerry Southern, Diane Roberts, Elaine LeRoy, Cathy Qualls, Betty
Sheesly, Daphne S and Patty S with the unspellable last names for
giving up your Thursday afternoon to make the trial run smoothly.
Speaking of workers - I have a new appreciation for the incredible
amount of work that Nanci and Erin Nellis and Lea Ruggeri do so we can
have a National. They are amazing. As are the crew of workers to
decorate the site, take care of the trophies, take care of the judges,
work with the vendors, pre-sell the seats/catalogs/etc., man the
rescue and Foundation booths etc. - thanks to all! I had no idea...
and now that I do... next year I want to go back to being a spectator
LOLOL.
