My opinion on older dog's bloating is that the age and condition, are
factors. Particularly with brood bitches, by the time they are 12 or older
their underline is loose, and it usually swings and sways. Add stress to
that age factor and a soft under line...and it is more liekly to happen.
Two of my ROM bitches bloated, between 12 and 13, and in each case there was
also an additonal stress factor. To the best of my knowledge non of their
progeny bloated.
