I agree with you Cynthia that it is an important event and a honor to host it.
However, if it is going to strap us financially, is it worth it???? There are
many things in life that is important and we want to do, but with the economy
is this the practical thing to do given our club's financial status. If it is
and we can afford it with no problem, then fine. I am just sayin we need to
take a hard look at the cost involved vs the benefits for the club.

I am not sure about the accuracy of the statement that we are "in the red".
nfortunately I have not had time to look into it. It may be true, or not, but I
ill ask the questions for my own informational purposes. As far as the 2013
orld Show....from a breed political point of view, it is very important. I am
ot sure what it would cost to host it if it were a single venue, but combining
t with our 100th year celebration will raise the overall costs for sure. But,
t is such a special time, and I am so excited to celebrate this great breed

rain us more financially depending on the outcome, is it financially
ppropriate for the parent club to be hosting this event?? We are in a economic
risis right now, people, and business are cutting back to survive, will the

iters association's alleged missing money is, as well as the rumor the AKC was
