I did enjoy watching that. I like anything that has me in it.
I also remembered the name of each handler and each judge. I guess that is
a good sign. But, it did remind me of how fleeting life is, and how
thankful I was last Thursday to have good friends and be able to enjoy another
holiday with them.
I took part of today off, and am looking forward to my trial tomorrow.
I remember when Ron Lucas made that video. Ron is gone now, aso is Candy,
but I represented their son and daughter, so the connection remains. Ron
sent the video to me when he made it, and that is why so much of it is the
West Coast, (all of it).
And, I still wear the jacket Gail Sprock gave me, but only to the
National. It is the gray leather one with the patches. She had one in green,
and
I told her how much I liked it. The following week, I got the gray version
in the mail. She will always be in my mind, one of my favorite people,
who now sadly, so many of the shepherd people never had the chance to meet.
Time waits for no man.
