The only Mason runs I had for comparison were Betty and Leon Breault's which would probably be at last as old as yours and Dania's <G>, and honestly, they look like new, but when I looked into Mason 2 years ago they just weren't the same quality as the older ones I'd seen. (Gauge was lighter, closing mechanism's looked flimsy). Now, from Ann's post I read about Preifert, it looks as though I got lucky. Apparently, in that case, the "newer" version is a better version. It pays to shop. Pens have gone up dramatically.
