I use the nylon/chain martingale collars on both my Cardigan Welsh Corgis
and my big boy GSD for obedience training and general use. They are gentle
but still produce that "zing" sound when you want to get their attention.
They're wonderful for puppies because you can get them over their ears
without too much fuss and it's just enough around their neck to help them
acclimate to a collar. I get mine at PetSmart.
