Production agriculture has faced many issues over the years that have
challenged farmers and ranchers. However, today?s attacks by animal
rights/welfare activist threaten the very existence of both livestock
and grain producers. On Tuesday, May 11 at 7:00pm at the Family Life
Center, we invite you to learn more about the animal rights/welfare
movement threatening animal agriculture and the proposed Missouri
ballot initiative by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS)
attacking dog breeders.
Missouri livestock producers could very well be next in the crosshair
sights of HSUS in the near future.
Kelly Smith, Director of Marketing and Commodities for Missouri Farm
Bureau, will talk about ?Understanding the Animal Activist? and the
current ballot initiative attacking licensed dog breeders.
