There has been a lot on this list about BSL as well as posts addressing many
rumors concerning Louisville legislation, including the one in which there
would be a per dog fee assessed for future dogs shows held there.
Diane is one of the pivotal members of the Louisville Cluster committee and as
such I have no reason to disbelieve what she posted. She asked that in general
that her e-mail be cross posted as many places as possible to try to dispel
mis-information that could impact the entries at the Louisville Cluster. I
cross posted on the three lists to which I belong. I fail to see where she is
trying to confuse any issues or cause any conflict.

Hmmm. This post from Diane O'Reagan has been making the rounds of all the email
lists. It is out of place here, because at no time on this list (or for that
matter, on any of the other lists where I've seen this exact post)
did anyone address BSL, name the Bull breeds, etc. We have all been made
aware that the proposals are still just that, proposals...and in fact, Donna
Herzig, of the Louisville Kennel Club, has written to me stating that the
proposal has NOT been defeated, although they have high hopes of doing so.
Donna Herzig is an attorney, I believe she is President of the LKC, and she is
leading the fight for the club against this bill. I would tend to believe her
information before anyone else's, particularly when the other person is talking
about things that were never discussed on our own list.
This particular post deals with information about BSL - which has never been
the issue here and in fact has not been discussed on this list at all.
Whatever Diane O'Reagan was responding to, none of it has been talked about
on this list--sharing her post just adds to the confusion.
