Thought that was unconstitutional!!! As many know, I litigate a lot of dog cases. But, you have to assert your rights. The United States Constitution, (it was in all the papers when it was passed) has an amendment against illegal search and seizure. It was not in the constitution, but was added by amendment due to the government trying to pass laws that allowed them to enter your property without proper court permission. No state can pass laws that violate your constitutional rights, without a compelling interest. In this case, I doubt the bill will pass a constitutional test. But, it will take a lawyer to take an appeal, and to get it declared invalid. That is what I do all the time. I still tilt at a few windmills each year.
