The tracking problem is the amount of area required. From what I understand for the world show, each team requires a practice area then a test area, and basically need around 3 1/2 acres each to do this in. There could be around 75 teams at a minimum consisting of 4-5 dogs (not sure if there are more, but are at least this amount), so do the figures. At a minimum, each team needs 20-25 acres x75 or more.....lot of land required! Believe the WDA folk said there was not enough room for this in Lexington. But then there really is no need to argue it................the board has rejected the site and looking elsewhere to get all the amenities required. Molly In a message dated 4/28/2010 3:54:13 P.M. The previous GSD National had their tracking test at the Horse Park. The Flat-Coat National & Springer National had tracking at the Horse Park as well. ============================================================================ POST is Copyrighted 2009.
