You're so right. I Found this out at my FIRST ever Judging experience at a
Puppy match. I had a Very nice entry, but only mediocre dogs in the one class.
It was the hardest class to judge. I took my time and decided on the 4. The
woman with the 5th place puppy came up to me after the show and DID not ask me
why I didn't put up her puppy, but REAMED me out for NOT putting up her puppy.
I just told her that I am a "Movement" Nut, and I felt her puppy wasn't moving
as well as the others. I didn't tell her that it was terribly dippy in it's
back, or tell her that it was so cowhocked, or it's eyes were yellow...I'm not
even sure these were the things wrong with this pup, but I was Very nice to her
and just tried to leave it at that. She Ruined my day tho. Sportsmanship is
what Showing Dogs is supposed to be about....Something that is VERY lacking in
Some people.
