Just a note...mentoring goes on during judging. Can;t blame the extra
time on mentoring. Education programs should be before the
National...not in the middle of it. Maybe on a day between performance
and conformation? The Shelties and (I think) the Collies have a whole
day devoted to BREEDER education and judges' education, not just the
programs for judges.........and what's more, those are very well
attended..... and the audience even gets to participate.... I don't
call 3 days of conformation judging a quickie dog show....
As the rest of the PPP group knows, I didn't go...it is very
difficult for me to go away from home for days on end........
