Which made me remember a funny cat story
Our garage cat is a great hunter. Before we had her spayed, she had a litter
of kittens in my
puppy run. When they reached a certain age, she collected all available
proteins from the area
and brought them to the kittens - the proteins were incapacitated but not dead.
SHe brought
cray fish, bunny, moles, moles, birds, mice. Taught them to hunt and eat.
This summer, I came out the door to find a partially killed present on the
welcome matt. Brat
usually leaves offferings to me, but this was the first time she left one
partially dead. Apparently
she decided it was time to teach me how to hunt.
I picked up a broom and tried to kill it without success.
So, she caught it, finished the process and dropped the carcass at my feet.
She gave me a
look that said YOU ARE UNTRAINABLE. and walked off.
Yes, Evan, my husband would agree.
