[ SHOWGSD-L ] Hips

My 2nd Shepherd had Grade3 HD in the right hip. I told
the breeder about it and she said that it was my
fault!! ENVIRONMENTAL. (Mind you this female was not
jumped, nor was she overweight.) She told me to bring
the dog back. I said "Why? So you can breed her
anyway?"I did not know at the time that the breeder
did not x-ray.
I also told her that " I don't turn my back on a dog
that is not perfect." I was very attached also! The
dog was spayed,and lived to be 12 1/2. She ended up
being put to sleep due to DM.
