I'm not sure if that will be the case. My bitch happened to do just that, he
put her BOB over 7 Specials. Even if a class animal goes BOB, the judge can
still award Gch points to BOS, Select Dog & Select Bitch, so it will not deter
from other Champions receiving Gch points, the judge who judged that day did
exactly that. My bitch did not qualify to get the Gch points, but he awarded
them to the others.
There might be judges who will not put a class animal over Specials, but I
don't think it will be due to this new program. Some just don't believe in
ever awarding a class dog a win over a Special, no matter what.

We have been discussing this issue quite a bit at our AB handling class. There
was one thing that has come up that I haven't seen on the List yet, unless I
missed it. Some folks feel that this would be the end of class dogs going BOB
over specials. A matter of great pride to some of the breeder/owner/handlers.
