[ SHOWGSD-L ] "Goopy Ears"

My old guy is getting over an ear infection and the medicine has left the
outside fur "goopy & greasy" feeling and looking. I really don't want to risk
getting water in his ears by washing them, any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. I am showing him next weekend as a Veteran and he will be bathed
before the show but I think it's going to take a few days to get rid of this
mess.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
