My Maz X Kane grandson was not a movie star, but he did star in the Miss
Teen USA Pageant when it was filmed here on the Gulf Coast. A K-9 handler
friend called me and told me the producers of the pageant were looking for a
dog
who could catch a frisbee. "Crockett" was never taught to catch a frisbee as
I was worried about breaking a tooth. I received the call on Thursday and we
filmed on Sunday with Crockett catching different colored frisbees. It was
really cute.......it showed some of the contestants with the frisbee in their
mouths and then throwing the frisbee to Crockett and then they reversed the
film and he threw them back to the girls so they ended up with the frisbees
in their mouths. It was sooooooooooo neat! That was his 15 international
minutes of fame! Crockett was the sire of Logan, my SAR dog, may they both
rest
in peace!
