Hi All;
I am fortunate enough to own all the books that you have been discussing on the
List. Gwen Strickland's book's was one of my first, as
I started in Obedience with an ILP GSD and Gwen was one of the folks competing
whom I admired. In fact she has names listed in the back of the book and my Von
Ryan's Monroe's call name Brinn came from that book.
I was fortunate enough to have Anna Catherine autograph my copy of her book. I
had a sable Polo daughter, Eden and when Anna meet her at a show, she fell in
love with her as she had a sable as a child. Eden was a love and in Anna's lap
at ringside.
I also received a book a few years ago called also the GSD Encyclopedia by
Royal Canin. They donated books to my Labrador Club for our Specialities and
some how the GSD book was in there, so being the only member of the Club with
GSD's I was given the book.
I love going through these books as there is always something new to learn.
