Knowing that it's expensive and some folks didn't like the
place....forget about the fog moving in during Specials.....I did send all
the website links to Gail for Del Mar as soon as the request for
suggestions went out. There are even options for herding within an hour or
two away. Tracking could possibly be done at the Polo grounds a mile or so
down the road.
Back in '99 when the National was held there, the hotel which is across the
street did not allow dogs. Since then the hotel was sold and from what I've
been told they allow dogs now.
It is an option.
