I am a member becuase I want to promote the GSD and support the GSDCA...but=
benefits? Where? The insert that accompanies my .renewal clearly states th=
at the Review is part of my membership.When we don't recieve the Review we=
don't recieve the benefits that the GSDCA has promised for the amount we p=
ay..Other than a few plaques for this or that and the "honor" of being able=
to enter a futurity there are no other benefits. We pay for Parade of Grea=
ts..entry fees continue to increase, the cost of the Victory dinner is high=
for what you are served(and when you are served it) I pointed out earlier =
this year that belonging to the GSDCA was to promote the breed..not for wha=
t the club can do for you..but what you can do for the breed..BUT..that doe=
s not mean that the GSDCA should not deliver on what it says it will do. Ne=
w members who have joined primarily to get the Review are being sent a mess=
age that the GSDCA is not organized and does not deliver what it promises t=
o in a timely manner..The Review not only can be likened to a trade magazin=
e but also a promotional tool. It was seeing my first Review that prompted =
me to want to join the GSDCA many years ago. Had my recieiving it been so e=
rradic then, I may not have renewed my membership. C.Grainger
