Kris,
I have used Frontline + for years. I actually stretch it to 4-6 weeks,
sometimes longer unless there are a lot of ticks. It will control fleas for
3 months, ticks for one. It does depend on where you are, how
wet/humid(fleas LOVE dampness.) I haven't had fleas on my dogs since using
it, and before using it, the cats brought them-not the dogs. I also use it
on the cats with great success. Maybe you could use Zodiac premise or kennel
spray for outside areas-to cut down on their breeding grounds. If your dogs
are inside, treat your carpets, flooring with the Zodiac carpet spray. It
controls fleas for 7 months, and spays the female fleas as they're dying so
you're not reinfested by their eggs 2 weeks later. Also, make sure not to
bathe your dogs 2 days before or after applying Frontline. Good Luck!
