Not sure about that Jackie, but Dave Colman use to give me a large box of
them every time I went to SoCal. Granted I did peel and depit them but my
dogs loved them as much as I did. Never had a problem, other than fighting
them off me. Carol Chute , who I stayed with a lot, had a tree in her back
yard and had to fight the dogs for them when they feel off the tree. As far
as I know she never hade a problem either.

Isn't Avoderm dog food based around avocado? I'm pretty sure that was
supposed to be its big selling point (dogs with allergies etc were supposed
to do better on the stuff), but I can't entirely recall.
