In fact my first National at Valley Forge Pa in 1959 a famous handler named
Jack Mc Mahon showed a shepherd owned by a John Kennedy from Mass. I've
always wondered. It was a dog and I do believe a sable. Old time trivia !

That was the Pres. dog for sure, I heard this tale before (that the dog was
shown at the PA National), and Jack was Bobbie McMahon's ex......he was a
very good GSD handler, I believe he still handles Dobermans.
Did you know how many secret service agents were designated to guard the dog?
None. After all, it was a German Shepherd.....<G>
