An advanced flavoring technology was used, that produced a stronger than
anticipated aroma, to the extent that some people are uncomfortable with
the
intensity of the smell. As such, the food is being returned to its
original
aroma. Under no circumstance is this food unsafe to feed. In fact, the
acceptance by dogs is the strongest we've ever seen.
When purchasing a new bag of Diamond Pet Food, check for an expiration
date
of 25 May 07 and after. These will contain the original aroma.
If you feel uncomfortable feeding from these bags, we will gladly send
you a
refund. Please clip the production code from these bags and mail them
to
Diamond Pet Foods, PO Box 156, Meta MO 65058. Also include how much up
paid for these bags and a copy of this e-mail.

noticed since the change the last few bags I have used have a strong
aroma,
almost like a burnt smell. This has been about 3 bags now. We keep them

airtight container, and the smell really hits you when you open it. My
