....several weeks ago the topic dominating the list was the Do's and Don't's of
FACE BOOK......I read most of the posts, but admitted to a few I really am not
interested in FB and doubted that I would ever join......lol...well....that
will change in the next few days.....there is a wonderful organization called
"DonorsChoose.org"....they find donors and match them up with k-12
teachers....many teachers in my school district have used DonorsChoose.org and
received all kinds of classroom items.....but because of the Red Tape involved
I never applied ( translation....I was lazy!)....but during the second week in
March Donors Choose will match all donations teachers can get from their family
and friends!......there is a computer based program that I have wanted to
purchase for the last two years from "Renaissance Learning" called
NEO2........the cost for 30 students.......$4,000.00!......my goal is to get
100 donors to give me 20 bucks.......thats $2,000.00....add 2 grand from
DonorsChoose.org....and my class next year will be in business......so any one
out there in lister land that can help me setup my FB account to ask for money
please e-mail me...thanks....the other FB...FlowerBoy....
