I am, without a doubt, the worst double-handler in the world. JR Alcantara,
Cindy Tellefsen, and Jerry Guzman deserve my Annual Patience of Job Award
for putting up with my lack of ability to focus and be logical when my dog
is in the ring.
At the National a few years back, I was given a whistle to assist a friend
double-handle the dog in the ring. She said, "Just toot it once." I did
and she immediately took it away from me and disappeared!! I have NO idea
how I could screw that up, but, I managed!!
That being said, the best my beautiful Ch. DianaBanana has ever looked was
when she decided to ignore me and double off of Jan Coleman at one show, and
Linda Freeny at another. I have no idea why, as the three of us don't
exactly look like sisters!! I think that Ch. DianaBanana was just feeling
sorry for me those days!!

One of my favorite memories is when Charlotte Funk and I had a dog in the
same class and both doing our best to win it. On one go-around, she was
running
one way and I was running the other. We ran full smack right into each
other....I said "oh, Hi Charlotte" and she says "oh, Hi Jamie" and we went
right
back to it.
I've forgotten who won that day, but I'll never forget the wreck. LOL.
