Many years ago I had a friend whose rottweiler was literally eating his
wooden fence outside.
I suggested something I remembered my grandfather telling me who used.
Get powered cayenne pepper, a large soda bottle (2 liter size). Put 4
tablespoons of the pepper in it and fill with water. Shake the mix up several
times a day, but be sure to let it set for 5-6 days before using.
Put it in a spray bottle and spray down all area's being chewed.
It worked for his dog...he said he would try to bite the fence and cough
and sneeze like crazy. Stopped him cold.

Literally, my guys have been chewing wood to beat the band. It has gotten
soout of hand that I will have to reinforce the studs (wood ones) in the
building. Does anyone have a safe way to stop wood chewing? I looked at the
horse products but there were warnings on them.... They all have buddies
and
lots of toys so I don't know what the problem is. Thanks for any help,
