OK the swabs are finally here and I'll start repacking for distribution this
weekend. There are directions and questionaires with each SAMPLE KIT. I also
have 50 kits for CONTROL PURPOSES, these are for dogs 25 MALES and 25 FEMALES
that have NO CLOSE RELATIVES (2 generations) with each other.
Dr Froman has also asked that IF any of you have dogs in the CHIC DNA DATA
BASE; that died from one of the following cancer to PLEASE submit that data to
the VAN ANDEL INSTITUTE attn: Dr Roe Froman Roe.Froman@xxxxxxxx
1) Osteosarcoma
2) Hemangiosarcoma
3) Lymphoma
4) Malignant histiocytosis
5) Melanoma (oral or digital)
Also have a special request from one of her associates - IF ANY of your dogs
have HD PLEASE send request for swabs to me!! Separate STUDY.
