Let's just put in the punch line, and we all can enjoy the jokes that way.
That will solve the problem of the story hereunder.
A new prisoner was at dinner and someone stood up and said "Eight".
Everyone laughed.
Then someone else stood up and shouted out, "Seventy Six", and the other
inmates roared.
The new prisoner asked the person sitting next to him, what was going on?
He was told, "We have all been here so long, that we know all the jokes. So,
we just gave them numbers, give it a try."
So the new inmate stood up, shouted out "Fourteen."
There was absolute silence.
He asked his friend next to him what was wrong?
His friend replied, "Some people just can't tell a joke."
