  Brad has always told me that ALL dogs have mange mites and it is when 
(going to a new home, etc) the pup gets stressed that it can pop up. Haven't 
had any in years, but when I did he'd give me a little bottle of mitaban dip 
in mineral oil. I'd dab the spot with it every day for a week and it was 
gone. Mo

Okay, I'm baaaack. The vets have told me that when a dog has continuous 
demodetic outbreaks, which my 6 year old boy has, it's because he has a 
WEAKENED immune system. The breeder was told NOT to breed this bitch 
again....which to her credit, she did not. She didn't put her to sleep, she had 
her spayed and is a wonderful pet.
My boy is under NO stress, unless he has to wait to long for me to put his food 
bowl down. That's about it. But that rotten Demodex mange keeps coming back. 
 
As I said in another e-mail, I have received some wonderful suggestions from 
Listers and will definitely put them to good use. I will try almost anything at 
this point. Right now I have been giving my boy, orally, Ivomec for about three 
weeks and he is starting to clear up. For now!!!
