[ SHOWGSD-L ] Deep Throat...twice

The "list" members do not represent the views of all the members of the
GSDCA....however I think it is fair to say most of the list members are members
of the GSDCA and their consensus views are probably consistent with the general
views of the membership as a whole....No matter what your opinion is about
whether we should rotate the National to eney, meny, miney or mo, or have it at
the same place every year...from reading these National location posts over the
last few weeks I think it is fair to say that very very few GSDC members want
the 2007 National to return to Oregon...and the very few who do want the 2007
to be in Oregon, do so because it serves their own selfish self interest. I
have learned from two very very reliable sources, both independent of each
other that this current board is favoring Oregon...I have never ever used this
list to be critical of anyone or any group ( with the exception of Bill Basu
who I love like a brother and I poke fun at him)...If my dee
p throat
sources are correct and the board does return us to Oregon in 2007 I will be
very critical...if they do not have the foresight to see and understand that
air travel in the year 2007 will be even more difficult than it is now we need
to hold them accountable...many are not running for re-election but I say we
should remember who the Oregon voters are and hold them accountable when, if
ever, they do run for office again...this National location stuff is serious
and it effects the club as much or more than any one issue in my opinion....I
love to talk about whats Right is not always whats Fair..well let me say
this....OREGON IS NOT FAIR...AND OREGON IS NOT RIGHT...if you do not understand
this you should not be leading this club...one Denver lady posted yesterday
that if we return to the coast for 2007...she is leaving the GSDCA for
good...last year 600 members left the club...I am asking the "Big 18" on behalf
of the majority of the club members ( and I know I do not speak f
or the
members of this club, so save your hate e- mail) to do as Spike Lee said in
one of his movie titles "Do The Right Thing"...and no I will not tell you who
my two deep throats are...I'll tell you when I turn 91.........Edwin B. Hill
