Well I can attest to the fact the tails can be injured. I have a dog with with
an amputated tail. She was running back forth with her mother stopped fast
and mom rammed her right in the but bending the tail and breaking it. How do I
know I saw it happen and heard her scream. Hoped it would heal but it did not.
She dragged it on the ground and developed a sore . her new name is stubby.
