Raffle to Benefit Degenerative Myelopathy
August 2005
We will be raffling off a 16 x 20 color portrait of your German Shepherd,
which will be donated by the well known and talented German Shepherd Artist,
Syd Mailberg, for the purpose of collecting monies for Degenerative Myelopathy
research. Syd will donate a portrait of the winning ticket holder's dog (one
dog), size 16 x 20, with a "portrait" background (as shown in the sample,
below), value $500.00. The winner of the raffle must provide a good quality
close-up photo of their dogs head, to Syd, for the portrait to be painted,
upon
winning the auction. Funds collected for this raffle will be sent to the
American German Shepherd Dog Charitable Foundation, where the monies will be
matched by the Charitable Foundation, and then sent to Dr. Clemmons. With the
purchase of a raffle ticket, you will be receiving an acknowledgement from
Ginny
Altman, the Health and Genetics Liaison of the American German Shepherd
Charitable Foundation. Here is your chance to win a beautiful color portrait
of
your German Shepherd and contribute to a good cause! This is a $500 value!!

How to Purchase a Raffle Ticket/Tickets:
Raffle tickets cost 1 chance for $20, 2 chances for $30, 6 chances for $60,
and 15 chances for $100. (Of course, more tickets may be purchased.)

Tickets purchased via check or money order must be received by Tuesday,
August 30th, 2005, while tickets purchased via paypal can be purchased up

the close of the raffle on Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 12 a.m. The
winning raffle ticket will be drawn by a police officer from the community
where
the drawing will be held. You will be emailed a receipt with a raffle number
on
it, for each of your purchased raffle tickets once your check has cleared.
You must keep your receipt, with your raffle number on it, to claim the
portrait, if you win. Each person who purchases a raffle ticket will be
acknowledged as a donor to DM research.
