Subject: Critters with GSD's
My first GSD was when I was a police officer and then shortly after the long
haired GSD k9 dog from my dept. retired and I had two boys! With them; I had
my show Persian (dripping coat), a 4.5 iguana named Queenie and a blue and gold
Macaw that escaped out to torment my kitty. The dogs were deathly afraid of
Queenie as she loved to slap her tail at them or a wall...her name fitted! Poor
Shadow (police tough dog) couldn't overcome Queenie and her tail! The bird was
a different story....Chico was a colorful flying chicken on a stick! But the
kitty was always getting lured in by the bird and then pounced on! Show coat
no more until it grew out!!
Now it's boring with my matriarch bitch GSD nursing her orphaned kitten to
weaning and now giving them nightly massages!
Never seen a dog do the massage with her mouth before! My 16 year old (last odd
eyed white Persian) stands and in heaven with her nightly massages from Addie.
Wish she'd give me a massage!!?!!
I'd like to get pet chickens or turkeys or a goat...but I'm not sure my dogs
would be okay with it!!
